A totally unique Bed Set?

I remember when I was pregnant with my oldest walking into several different stores only to find they had the same basic nursery sets (none of which were exactly what I was looking for). How would you like a custom bedding set for your baby's nursery (or your older child's bedroom)? Something that's unlike the set that every other child has. Here at Zuzu's Place we can work with you to design the bedding set of your dreams. Your choices are almost infinite. And at the same cost as many bedding sets available in the stores.

What do you get?

Each bed set will contain a handmade quilt, matching sheet and a dust ruffle. In addition, nursery sets will include a bumper pad and older child sets will include a matching pillow case. We can also make many other items to match the set including diaper stackers, diaper disposal covers (ie diaper genie covers), lamps, waste baskets, curtains, and even light switch covers. Always includes choice of trims and colors. All Machine Washable Fabrics.

How does it work?

1) All patterns are chosen and bought from major pattern company lines based on the style you are looking for. These patterns are then altered to fit your child. This way we can give you a large range of choices that you and your children are sure to love.

2) You pick a fabric type ( geometric, floral/calico or themed). Then you pick a primary and secondary fabric color (your bedding set may include other colors, but the primary will dominate and the secondary will accent). Fabric choices always subject to availability.

3) I hand select fabrics for you and mail swatches (or e-mail photos) to you for approval. On approval a 50% deposit is collected.

4) Finally your custom items are made and upon payment of remaining balance your items are shipped out to you.

What are my options?

Basic (one main fabric with coordinating fabric for trim, ties, binding etc.) or Deluxe (patchwork or appliqués qualify as deluxe, as do specialty fabrics).
